Where the Covid-19 portal shows that more than 4000 people have recovered from corona virus it also gives the higher counts that are in critical condition.
Punjab has recorded the highest number of deaths with 3,982 fatalities. Sindh has confirmed 1,100+ new cases of Covid-19 taking the provincial tally to 213,193. Eighteen more people lost their lives due to the virus, with Sindh’s death toll climbing to 3,520. According to the statement, in the last 24 hours in Sindh, 8.4 percent of a total of 13,092 tests were positive.
With these entire statistics, Sindh Government has circulated revised SOPS that are to be observed at workplaces, public places, and during travelling, in order to limitate the second wave of Corona Virus which is picking pace.
The reason for such increase in the Corona cases by The National Coordination Committee (NCC) is that during the first and second wave, there was a huge difference in the degree of enforcement with SOPs. Also, people are careless in the dealing of used and infected protection gears and no proper handling of these wastes can be seen in the country.
The violation of the SOPS in the market place, work place, Mosques, public transport and shops can be seen clearly. The political leaders themselves are not taking it seriously. They must stop using the disease to settle their political score.
Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah communicated that “strict action” would be taken against people failing to follow the safety measures against the corona virus. While recoveries can be observed, safety measures should be ensured everywhere in the province in order to curb the spread.
